I think baby knits to me are like socks to Cat Bordi. Portable, complex enough to be interesting, quick enough to get done and not hang out in the knitting basket. My problem – by the time I do get them done, the babies they are for are no longer babies. This year I would like to do a ton of baby knits and just give them away if I have to. I love how sweet they are.
Lucille – Above – is a top down easy cardi. It’s vintage inspired and includes the bonnet.
For the mom who is tired of the hat getting pulled off and on this sweet design by Pickles fits the solution! I recently spotted this on Pinterest in dreamy vanilla, lilac and lemons.
I know right? The Ravelry link has Japanese and English available.
For the little Fellas – a very vintage inspired but modern mommy eco choice. Organic cotton and earthy tones make this Little Man Coat a very dapper wardrobe essential.
Did I mention all these patterns are free? Yep. Awesome. I know.
